INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTOR

FOR

CONSTRUCTION OF HANDLOOM MARKETING COMPLEX AT JANPATH, NEW DELHI

 

                                                                                   

1.          Applications are invited from reputed and competent building contractors with adequate technical and financial capabilities and having experience of executing multistoried buildings for pre-qualification for the project mentioned below. Empanelled  Agencies may apply updating their experiences for such type of works.

 

2.	Name of the project:		Estimated Cost
	Construction of Handloom Marketing Complex including all civil works, Sanitary, Plumbing, Electrical, A.C. & Fire Fighting work etc. at Janpath, New Delhi		Rs. 40.00 Crores (Approx.)

 

3.         Pre-qualification document can be obtained from 23.12.2008 to 29.12.2008 between 10.00 Hr. to 17.00 Hr. on all working days from the address for communication mentioned below on payment of fee of Rs.7,000/- (non refundable) in cash or in the form of a Demand Draft favouring Hindustan Steelworks Construction Limited payable at New Delhi.

 

4.         The application of pre-qualification document must clearly state “Request for Pre-qualification document for Construction of Handloom Marketing Complex at Janpath, New Delhi”.

 

5.         Application for pre qualification supported by prescribed documents as annexed should be submitted in sealed envelop duly super-scribed with “Pre-qualification document for Handloom Marketing Complex at Janpath, New Delhi” up to 3.00 PM on or before 30.12.2008. HSCL will not be responsible for any postal delay if any. 

 

6.         The applicants shall submit an undertaking for the following on their letter head stating that during last seven year :-

 

a)            I/we have not been blacklisted/debarred by any Dept./Organization.

b)            There is no case of bad performance for the works executed by me/us.

c)            That I/we have not left any work incomplete

d)            That no work executed by me/us has been rated poor/bad quality

 

If application does not submit the aforesaid undertakings, his application shall be rejected and no claim shall be entertained on this account. Also applicant shall be debarred from tendering in HSCL, if any of the criteria mentioned at S.No.6 (a to d) above applies to the applicant.

 

7.         The tenderer is required to submit “The Integrity Pact” on non judicial stamp paper of value Rs.100/- of Delhi. In case of non-submission of “The Integrity Pact” in the aforesaid format, the Pre-qualification application shall be summarily rejected.
